The Refuge Shambala
The new hut, which opened its business in August of 2008, is owned by the family Spazzadeschi (Flavio, Lella and children), former owner of the Rifugio Capanna Vittoria, present in Giumello since 1987.
The Refuge Shambala is located in a panoramic position with views over the lakes of Como and Lugano, Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn, and the Alpine foothills Orobiche is easily reached by car (1h and 30m from Milanosia through SS36 output Bellano - Direction Taceno, Casargo, Alpe Giumello, that along the new road Valsassina - direction Lecco, Ballabio, Taceno)
It offers a restaurant service with typical local dishes and 6 rooms with bathroom for a total of 21 beds (you can only rates with breakfast, half board or full board).
